Hill has seen a large number of professionals play on the 6,411 18-hole
par 72 course. Included in the Hall fo Fame are golfing icons such as
Tony Jacklin and Peter Berry.
The course, which exploits the landscape's natural contours, provides
a great challenge for both professional and amateur golfers alike. The
starting hole, at 558 yards in length, was once the longest first in
the country. At the 9th, historic Roman works punctuate the terrain.
On arrival at the 8th, you will have reached the highest point in the
Cotswolds. |
