The Old Course has been used
by the R&A as an Open Championship Regional Qualifying venue, hosted
the international match between England and Spain in 2007 and the Senior
Woman's English Close Amateur Stroke Play Championship in June 2009.
In August 2011 the Old Course staged the Ladies' British Open Amateur
Stroke Play Championship.
The quality of the Courses, the reputation of the dining rooms and the
friendly ambience of the Club, makes it a favourite venue for Old Boys'
matches, society days and corporate events.
