East
Brighton Golf Club At 6,426 yards and with a par
of 72, East Brighton presents a genuine challenge for golfers of all
handicaps, whilst remaining absolutely ‘fair’.
Generous fairways and no impossible carries virtually guarantee an enjoyable round, even if the occasional disaster strikes. At the halfway house, golfers can take a short break and enjoy hot/cold drinks and snacks with toilet facilities. From the 12th tee, the highest point on the course, spectacular views of the English Channel can be enjoyed, from Beachy Head to the east and Selsey Bill to the west. On a clear day, the silhouette of the Isle of Wight can be seen on the western horizon to add to already magnificent sea and down-land views. |

East
Sussex National Golf Club Both
our championship courses were designed by Robert E Cupp, one of Jack
Nicklaus’s course architects, with major championship golf in
mind. It’s no wonder that the club staged two European Opens
and played host to some of the world’s leading players including
Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Vijah Singh, Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria
Olazabal, Nick Price and Ian Woosnam.
At the time of construction, our East Course was the first of its kind in the country to be galleried – even those not playing feel the superiority of our courses as they offer unrivalled spectator appeal. |

any golfer and, due to its nature and excellent drainage, is open all

We pride ourselves on offering a warm and friendly welcome to all who visit us at our modern clubhouse. Piltdown
Golf Club The club was founded in 1904. The course
was designed initially by Jack Rowe, the professional at nearby Royal
Ashdown, with later contributions from the great JH Taylor, member of
the famous “triumvirate” and multiple winner of The Open.
Between them they created something special, a course unlikely ever
to host a major tournament, but one which is, to quote a report from
European Golf Design, “comfortable, familiar and really rather
good.”
It was built on Piltdown Common, and part of it borders the beautiful lake known as Piltdown Pond. There are no sand bunkers, but most of us reckon the heather, gorse, trees and bracken provide challenge enough. |

Rookwood
Golf Club
Rookwood Golf Course has been carefully designed to provide the highest
quality golf & function facilities. The course is set in an area of gently undulating parkland, making excellent use of the large number of mature trees and water features with impressive contoured greens. Its location adjacent to the Warnham Nature Reserve means that the area is rich in wildlife. A major objective of the development of the golf facility was that, in conservation terms, it should be a good neighbour to the nature reserve. |

Chichester
Golf Club One of the largest golf complexes
in the South of England with its two 18-hole courses, driving range,
9-hole short course and crazy golf course. The two parkland courses
are the Tower course with generous fairways making a good score possible
for all levels of golfers but watch out for the tricky MacKenzie greens,
and the Cathedral course with one of the toughest front nine's around.
The 5th hole at 608 yards is affectionately known by the members as
"the mother" but we know your golf is up to the challenge.
The beauty of playing at Chichester Golf Club is that there is some thing for everybody from the young to the young at heart. This is not your everyday public course; this is a magnificent golf complex that's open to everyone. |

Hill
Barn Golf Club
Designed by the legendary Fred Hawtree, Hill Barn Golf Club has a long
and enviable history. Since 1935, the course’s rolling fairways
have hosted many professional tournaments; been graced by names such
as Peter Alliss and Tony Jacklin; and have provided the perfect challenge
to all golfers from juniors to scratch players. The 6,229 yard course provides challenges and surprises for players of all levels as it undulates through a good balance of par 3s and par 4s of which no two are alike. The signature hole on the 11th has a cunningly placed array of bunkers set into the hillside but an accurate tee shot is rewarded by an excellent chance at a birdie. Bordered by mature trees and hedgerows, the course culminates in a par 5 worthy of this championship course. |

Sussex Golf Club The course is set in surprisingly
mature parkland and features superbly contoured greens, interesting
natural water hazards and a host of strategically placed bunkers. It
is maintained year round to a high standard, without the need for temporary
tees and greens. It has a reputation for being a fun course to play for all standards of golfers off the forward tees, and so lends itself well as a golf day venue. It can also be stretched out to a tougher test off the back tees. |

Willingdon
Golf Club Each hole on the
course has its own memorable features, none more so than the course's
signature hole, the short par 3 5th, which has a row of railway sleepers
encircling the green. Every one of the holes presents a challenge and
the experienced golfer at Willingon knows that it is brains not brawn
that will be needed to help unlock the secret of a low score. At pat
69 the course appears relatively easy but many a good card has been
ruined by underestimating the difficulty of the challenge, particularly
on the par 3 holes.
