Highgate is a wonderful, friendly members’ club opened in 1904. Our 18-holes stretch to 6,000 yards (5,400 for the Ladies) and we are the nearest 18-hole course to central London. Despite being over 100 years old, the existence of the course still raises eyebrows – even amongst those who have lived in the capital for many years and in that respect, Highgate really is London’s best kept golfing secret.

A hilly, tree-lined parkland course, Highgate has just one par 5 and four extremely demanding par 4s, meaning neither the Par nor SSS of 69 are a pushover (on the Ladies card 3 par 5''s and 1 very tough par 4) the Par is 71 and the SSS is 72. The Men''''s amateur course record stands at only 3 under par with the ladies at 4 under par. The professional record stood at 66 until 2003, when Matt Deal of Hendon, aided by a hole in one at the 17th, reduced it to 63.
