Heath Golf Club The course
benefits from a sustained programme of conservation and management.
The original features have been preserved and enhanced, using modern
green-keeping methods and machinery. A forestry and heathland conservation
programme is in place, and the Club's policy is to ensure the long-term
future of its outstanding asset. The sandy heathland has excellent drainage
properties, resulting in fine year-round golfing conditions.
Our own natural resource, a bore hole, provides a comprehensive irrigation system serving tees, fairways and greens. The new clubhouse, which was built in 1990, provides modern locker rooms with shower and changing facilities |

Clandon
Regis Golf Club Set in 170 acres of prime Surrey
parkland, the 6485 yard par 72 golf course utilises the natural undulations
of the terrain and, whilst not flat, there are no 'cardiac' hills. Several
existing and some man-made lakes and strategically placed bunkers ensure
that Clandon Regis is a good test of golf for players of all abilities. The construction of the course is of the highest standard. The greens and tees meet full USGA specifications. The course was built into the existing parkland of the Clandon Regis Estate and all the mature trees were retained. Since the completion of the course, several thousand more trees and shrubs have been planted. |

Coombe
Wood Golf Club Coombe Wood Golf Club covers 67
acres of the historic Coombe Estate located in Kingston-upon-Thames,
Surrey, London.
Its first Captain was A.J. Balfour in 1904 - the then Prime Minister. Its course is famed for its challenging Par 3's complemented by tree lined Par 4's with blind tee shots and heavily bunkered greens. The key to play this tight and often difficult course is to always ensure careful positioning of tee shots. One of the best exponents of this in recent years has been honorary member and 2004 English Amateur Champion now turned professional James Heath. Whatever your standard of golf you will always receive a warm greeting at Coombe Wood. The friendliest members golf club in Surrey. |

Drift
Golf Club A stiff test awaits you on the very first
hole. 444 yards form the competition tee this Par 4 really sets out
the challenge to come. At the Par 3 third hole accuracy into a narrow
green which is well bunkered is premium but a good birdie opportunity
then awaits at the short par 4 fourth.
Consolidation through the next few holes will offer birdie opportunities to the brave on the par 5s at five and eight... |

Farnham
Golf Club The course is a combination of parkland
and heath land, and combines a beautifully peaceful environment with
some stunning views. Starting in parkland the scenery changes after
the 5th as the pines close in and the heather replaces the grass. By
the 11th, the vista opens again with views over the farmland to the
Hog's Back. The gentle undulations give variety but do not demand excessive
effort. The course is noted for its superb drainage which makes play
possible for 52 weeks of the year. The course measures 6,608 yards,
par 72 for men and 5,830 yards, par 72 for ladies and is a fair and
enjoyable test for any level of golfer. |

Silvermere
Golf Club The
tree-lined golf course at Silvermere is a true test of golf located
in the heart of Surrey. The first six holes are sure to get the pulse
racing with tight fairways, challenging approaches and great views. The course was designed by Neil Coles and Brian Hugget and opened for play in 1976. Whilst it is not a long course by modern standards, the combination of tree lined fairways and the succession of water holes makes it a particularly challenging course. Playing to your handicap is a real achievement at Silvermere. |

Tyrrells
Wood Golf Club Tyrrells Wood is located on the edge
of the North Downs and in common with much of the area has a chalk subsoil,
which provides extremely good drainage. The typical downland nature
of the area was transformed by the substantial tree planting programme
implemented in the late 19th century, to provide a unique downland /
parkland character. The club is continually re-investing to ensure we maintain the excellent conditions of the course and the superb standards of the club house. Most recently we replaced the irrigation system, whereby we now have a state of the art system covering tees, greens and approaches. |

Addington
Golf Club
The heart of the course begins at the Par 4 6th, made famous by the
writings of PG Wodehouse who penned "anyone wishing to write to
the author should address all correspondence to: PG Wodehouse, c/o the
6th bunker, The Addington Golf Club, Croydon, Surrey".
The acclaimed
golfing writer and former member Henry Longhurst described the 230
yard par 3, 13th hole as 'with the exception of the fifth at Pine
Valley, near Philadelphia, the greatest one-shot hole in inland golf'.
The 16th is also included in his all time great golf holes. |

Foxhills
Golf Club
Not surprisingly, the course that's named after him offers more than
a few serious challenges for club golfers. The 10th hole, for instance,
is a 445-yard par-4 that plays downhill initially and then sweeps uphill
to a green protected by two bunkers in front of the putting surface.
You have to keep your tee shot to the left of the fairway to have the
best angle into a green which slopes wickedly from back right to front
left. It is undoubtedly the most difficult hole on the inward nine and
one where a par feels like a birdie. "It's a fantastically challenging
hole", says Richard Summerscales, Head Professional at Foxhills.
"It's demanding off the tee and then the green is hard to hit being
very narrow." |

Sunningdale
Golf Club
Sunningdale’s Old Course, which opened in 1901, was laid out by
Willie Park Jnr....
It is pure enchantment that characterizes Sunningdale Old. Virtually every hole is played in splendid – and beautiful – isolation, and in harmony with nature.......There is subtlety here, a measure of drama, and a wealth of that one indispensable ingredient, pleasurable excitement......No wonder it may be the most beloved inland course in the British Isles. |

Wentworth
Golf Club
There are few more glorious natural settings for golf than this stretch
of heathland surrounded by woodland of pine, oak and birch; the vibrant
rhododendrons adding a splash of colour. The heavily wooded landscape
has aesthetic and strategic benefits in the sense that it is both easy
on the eye and ideal for creating well-defined hole routings. The West Course is about aspiration and inspiration. Golfers tread in the footsteps of the game’s great players from the last 85 years – legends such as Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Ernie Els and Tiger Woods. That means something; you can’t help but feel it, every step of the way. |
