| Aldenham
Golf Club The main 18 hole
Church Course is a challenge for both the experienced and casual golfer.
It is kept well manicured with tree lined fairways, ditches and ponds.
The feature hole is the 13th par 5. This was for many years the longest
hole in the country measuring 621 yards.
Berry Grove (9 hole Course) consists of par 3’s and par 4’s but don’t be misled into thinking it is easy – it is not. This is a great course for beginners. |

Ashridge
Golf Club Ashridge first came to prominence, however,
in the late 1930's following the appointment of Henry Cotton as resident
Club Professional. Sir Henry Cotton as he was to become, was arguably
the best golfer of his era, winning three Open Championships including
the Open at Carnoustie in 1937 whilst he was at Ashridge. In fact, in
that year Sir Henry's two Assistants Bill Laidlaw and Fred Robertson,
finished 7th and 18th respectively, the only occasion during the last
100 years when three representatives of the same Club finished so high
in the order. Today, the course measures 6,663 yards and with a par of 72, it has fairly been described as encouraging to the average golfer whilst thought provoking to the good player. |

chipping and short-game practice areas are all ideal for sharpening
up those finer points before your round.
Bushey Hall Golf Club is located in Watford, in the home county of Hertfordshire, and is very accessible to central and north London. It is an 18-hole, 6,005-yard, par-69 course and is a truly splendid and secluded setting for a day's golf. |

Ken Brown and Essex based course architect Martin Gillett, the Park
Course is a well laid out 6352-yard par 71. The combination of mature

what a finish!
