Course has panoramic views of the surrounding area as far out as Blackpool

The back nine is the more undulating and moorland of the two halves, with some challenging holes for all levels of golfer. Dean
Wood Golf Club Dean Wood Golf Club is not the longest
course in Lancashire at just over 6,000 yards, but don't let the yardage
fool you! This is a course of two halves, presenting a challenge to
all categories of golfer.
The first nine holes, or new nine to the older members, was designed by the renowned golf course architect and 5 times Open Champion James Braid and lies north of the Clubhouse. It is situated on tree lined parkland surrounded by Dean Wood, presenting a gentle but pleasant introduction to the back nine. The second nine, which are the original nine holes presents a totally different challenge, demanding a high degree of accuracy and good shot making, with each hole consisting of sloping fairways and small undulating greens. |

Lytham
Green Drive Golf Club Our golf course is
a pleasant tree lined course which, although within a mile of the Irish
Sea, still retains its parkland characteristics.
The fairways are well defined and require an accurate drive to set up the hole. If you stray from the fairway the first cut and second cut give you a chance. If you catch the rough you will stuggle to make par. Our greens have an excellent reputation for running fast and true. However, they are small and well protected so an accurate approach shot is needed. Claim to fame |

Worsley
Park Golf Club Worsley Park Country Club has become
one of the best and most popular courses in the northwest of England.
Everyone from seasoned professionals to aspiring young players enjoy
the challenge of its natural obstacles and water features that reward
an accurate game.
Designed by European Golf Design in association with Michael King, the course meets the highest standards with greens and tees created to USGA specifications. The strategic positioning of the bunkers with clearly sighted tees demands careful thought on how to play each hole. Hole 7 is the course signature hole, a par 3, and requires a precise tee shot to negotiate the two water hazards that make this both a challenging and picturesque hole. An all-weather buggy path is a recent addition to further enhance the playing experience. |

Blackburn
Golf Club Our aim is to provide a challenging course
which may be enjoyed by all golfers. Blackburn Golf Club was founded in 1894 when Blackburn was at it’s height as a cotton and engineering town. The 18 hole parkland course today, with its outstanding views of the Pennines Hills and Lancashire coast is a far cry from that original course, where sheep and cattle grazed. Over the past 117 years many changes and improvements have been made to the course and the clubhouse, which have made Blackburn Golf Club a place to be proud of. |

Dunscar
Golf Club Dunscar Golf Club is a course for all
seasons. The mix of parkland and moorland holes, with its old and newly
planted trees, creates its own individual challenges. Careful course
management is required by levels of golfers. The Par 5 fifth hole has
out of bounds down the right side and a formidable bunker in front of
the green yet is complimented by the stunning scenery.
With so many holes that stand out it is difficult to highlight one and with Dunscar having four par three holes, which are very testing, one in particular offers a challenge. It is the 16th hole, the club’s signature hole, sited in a quarry surrounded by four bunkers and plenty of heather. Just beautiful yet challenging. |

Flixton
Golf Club Many people set out to play a gentle nine
hole parkland course thinking that this will be easy. Well... if you
hit the ball straight you're part way there; if you don't there are
trees, bushes and nameless other things in the very spots where you
don't want them. It could be said that position is the key to golf at
Flixton. On the other hand, Flixton is one of the longest nine hole
courses in the area so straightness isn't enough; if you can't hit a
long ball you won't get up. |

Formby
Golf Club Formby Golf Club is a true championship
links course unlike any other. Running through the mature sand dunes
and pinewoods of Formby the course will challenge you at every shot;
accuracy is always at a premium here. The combination of well protected
greens, heather bordering rough and challenging tee shots means Formby
is a course of magnificent contrasts.
The traditional clubhouse offers you comfort and relaxation in the Golfers' Bar and Hall Bar, both welcoming mixed company. Upstairs, the full panoramic views of the course from the lounge and dining room are a truly unique feature and add a real ‘wow’ factor not to be missed. |
